ABOUT
As an architect, Kruger Theron strives to find a balance between form and function whilst keeping an eye on the budget. He gets real joy in seeing a project coming to fruition and therefore prefers to stay close to his projects and offer guidance throughout the entire process. This is encapsulated by his philosophy: always add more value than the cost of the professional fees.
He can be described as a realistic, pragmatic artist with a sweet tooth.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Building Arts and a Bachelor in Architecture at the University of Port Elizabeth, Kruger started his career at Munnik Visser Architects in 1996 and ever since then he has worked actively in the industry. For the last 20 years, he has been involved in his own businesses where he has successfully completed a variety of residential, commercial, industrial and governmental projects.
Kruger Theron Architects is a skilful and passionate team consisting of principal architect Kruger and three technologists: Charmaine Burger, Judy Stolworthy and Rodney Dirkse. They have been working together for the last 8 years in their studio in Somerset West.
